How To Lose A Guy's Interest In 10 Seconds

In my experience with online dating I have found multiple mistakes that women make that scare away possible tall dark and handsomes. Although there are many potential slip-ups one can make, the greatest of these centers around posting profile pictures. Below are examples of some classic Do's and Dont's.

Things Not To Do!

1. Posting a picture of you with a baby, yours or not. It scares us away; we want kids but we run when it seems to be pushed at us.

2. Posting a picture of you at your sister's wedding, because it SCREAMS, “I am here to get married because my sister beat me to the punch.”

3. Posting a picture of you with your ex-boyfriend. If it is your brother or a friend you need to make a note of that. It shouts BAGGAGE!

4. Not having a picture of yourself without all your girlfriends is a no brainer. Men are simple and don’t want to have to hunt for which one you are. Also you want a guy to look at you, not your friends--remember, we are easily distracted.

5. Posting pictures of you only in a mirror, and/or camera phone pictures. All I can think is, “you don’t have any pictures of yourself; do you ever leave the house?!”

6. Posting a picture of you in your underwear. Sorry, whore!

Things That Are Attractive!

It is a great idea to have a diverse portfolio of pictures, for example:

1. Pictures of something outdoors or sporty, because as much as you want a fit, active guy, we want the same also.

2. Pictures of you at social events. Perhaps drinking alcohol somewhere--whether it's recreational or just for business events, we need to know you could go and hang.

3. Pictures of something wild! Like every kid at Christmas we like to he surprised. You need a wow factor: “Holy shit she has gone skydiving, I have not even done that!”

4. A cute picture of you in a dress, with heels. Yeah I know I am half gay but you need to show a guy you can get dressed up and look sexy. This is also a huge confidence booster in a man’s opinion of you. “Wow, she looks hot when she dresses up!”

5. A bathing suit picture. Yeah, men are pigs but this could be a huge wow factor for you.

6. A picture of you laughing. No one wants a stick in the mud! If we don’t think you can laugh… why waste our time?
